It’s an infant wine, big and inky, and the winemaker has made little attempt to tame the rambunctious fruit with maturation to create a more vinous wine, but if you enjoy bold young fruity reds, this is for you. The colour is dense and dark, the aroma loaded with blackberry jam and smoke notes, while the flavour is fruity, sweet, unctuous and almost syrupy.
